Break New Ground with Textile Architecture
3dtex GmbH seeks to explore and push the limits of what is feasible. Therefore, we are constantly advancing the development of new construction methods, not only project-related but also long-term.
The increasing requirements on tensile structures demand a permanent development of the materials used as well as of the construction methods. The 3dtex GmbH faces this challenge and co-operates with partners of industry and research facilities, e.g., on the development of highly insulating membrane structures to widen the use of membranes in building applications.
Our founder, the architect Stev Bringmann, has been a member of the European network TensiNet since 2001. The aim of this program funded by the European Union is the broadening of the application of textile structures, their technical development, and the definition of European standards.
